About Shanell Lightfoot
After collecting 3% commission checks as a real estate listing agent for 8 years at Keller Williams, Sotheby’s, Coldwell Banker, and independently at her own firm Proactive Realty Solutions, Shanell was determined to disrupt the traditional real estate listing process.
After working with an investor client who asked “Imagine the difference I could make in the community with an extra $15,000,” Shanell had an epiphany. The $15K that that investor spoke of was the commission he had paid Shanell’s brokerage for helping him get to the closing table.
Not taking offense, Shanell agreed that technology had drastically simplified the listing and selling process for agents. She realized that not all investors and sellers needed full service from a traditional real estate company, nor did they want to pay such a ridiculously high commission fee. But that didn’t mean that Shanell would be losing a client. Instead, she realized she could serve more people in a way that would truly satisfy them.

It was at that moment Shanell decided to transition the company from the traditional 3% commission listing model to a more modern, cost-effective Flat Fee MLS structure that included a low fee full-service option to empower homeowners and investors alike to list and sell on their own terms with clarity and confidence for less. In 2022, Shanell created a 4-week live coaching program called Fit for a FSBO to help clients really master the Art of Selling FSBO.
In addition to being a real estate broker, Shanell enjoys traveling with her husband, Shannon. She can’t stop talking about their most recent trip to Abu Dhabi & Seychelles! Her boys, Kellen & Kendall, are her pride and joy!
On most weekends, you can find Shanell hanging out at PDK Airport watching Kellen take off and land during aviation training, or watching WWE on tv (or in person) with Kendall.
